Robert Alston

Robert Alston, a Norfolk farmer and former Chairman of the Clan Trust, studied Rural Resource Management at the University of Reading, before spending 18 years working in investment banking for JPMorgan and Deutsche Bank.

Robert returned to Norfolk in 2014 to take over the family farming and property business with his young family, and continues to work in finance as well as being the managing director of a private investment trust for a family office.

In 2015 he co-founded Anglia Capital Group as the lead angel investment network in the region and follows the agri-tech Industry,  with his most significant investment in NovoFarina, the pea flour company. In 2019 he became chairman of the Royal Norfolk Agricultural Association.
